Handmade organic bump ring. This timeless solid brass piece is both delicate and bold, and makes a favorite pinky ring. Made in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California by Amber Duncan of Mountainside Jewelry.
Mountainside Jewelry opposes mass production and instead intends to promote the beauty of primeval craft with a focus on longevity and imperfection. Amber gathers ideas and inspiration from museums, books, architecture, nature, folklore, family heirlooms and long lost vintage jewelry discovered in flea markets and antique shops. Her designs focus on movement, texture, comfort and simplicity. She is fascinated by the stories behind symbolic images and organic forms, the curious lore and sentimentality of objects and emblems, the past uses and mythologies surrounding gemstones and talismans. For each piece, a new story begins.
